The Avet HX Lever Drag Reel is a step up in size and quality from the Avet JX and LX line. The lever drag system is far superior and the series puts out almost a 1/3rd more drag. The HX is an all metal reel with a great drag system that can hold up under tremendous pressure. It is designed to be fished with small diameter braided fishing line which allows anglers to fish heavier tests to catch bigger fish! All models feature harness lugs (except fot the HXJ 5/2).

The Avet HX 5/2 Magic Cast Raptor Plus 2-Speed Conventional Reels with Dual Drag features a ratcheting drag cam with the MC (magnetic) which is a magnetic breaking system so you don't get any backlash. The Raptor series is top of the line and allows higher drags with a better bearing system. This reel features an offset machined handle arm to reduce centerline profile and cranking wobble. A great reel for casting, trolling, and vertical jigging. With 40 lbs. of drag at strike and 50 lbs.
