This thing is heavy duty. I used it to throw over some branches on a tree that was leaning too close to my shed so that when I cut the tree down it would guide the tree away from the shed. It worked perfectly. Note that throwing a this over a tree branch is a challenge. You definitely want to make sure nobody is around in case you miss. This thing can do some serious damage if it hit somebody. The hook is serrated and pretty sharp so it will grab ahold of whatever you throw it at.
