This tool is used to prepare PVC, CPVC, ABS and PE type IPS pipe for the gluing of joints. The Chamfer Tool attaches to an electric or cordless drill (not included). 2 chamfer tool cuts a 1/8” X 15° chamfer on outside diameter and a small chamfer on the inside diameter. The inside blade adjusts to chamfer Schedule 40 or Schedule 80 pipe. Features strong, aluminum body and 3/8 inch hex, steel shaft. Uses drill power which eliminates user fatigue when making multiple cuts/chamfers.

Reed's BT2 is a Beveler. It has a 1-1/2 - 12 capacity. It weighs 6.1 lbs. This beveler features a strong aluminum alloy frame, effective roller locking, and good tool life. It produces a smooth 15-degree bevel on all types of plastic pipe, including gasketed PVC and C900 PVC in about one minute. Depending on wall thickness, this bevel can be up to 1-1/2 long, and is easily adjusted for different pipe sizes and thicknesses, with no part changes. The blade can be sharpened or replaced.
