Rookie Question. I bought this rod and it just says 6-12lb line on it(mono?) Assuming that I can run heavier braid on here but how heavy ? Heavy hydrilla fresh water

From my understanding a rods line rating is measured in mono, correct? If yes then if my rod has a rating of 6-14lb can I put 30lb braid on no problem???
